How To Build Competitive Websites Using Iweb

Lets face it – iWeb is something that most serious webdesigners wouldnt dream of using, but that doesnt mean theres not valid reasons for people to use Apples neat application for building their websites. Perhaps they have a very limited knowledge of html, orĀ  perhaps they just want to build something that looks good in a hurry. This is arguably where iWeb really shines – you can get something up and running in no time. If youve already played around with iWeb youre probably aware of all its strenghts – you simply spend more time producing content than you do on programming, or rather – iWeb allows you to spend no time programming, and all your time producing content for your users. Something like this comes at a very hefty pice though, as iWeb has some serious limitations and draw appetite suppressants backs that youre going to have a find a way around, if you want to run a succesful website. A while ago I bought a domain wanting to create a webpage about Malapascua, a tropical island where Im lucky enough to live. At first I wasnt sure which way to go with it, as I have previously written two websites in html. This was around four years ago however, and as I installed the new current versions of Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash and saw how different it all looked, I weighed my options carefully. In the end I chose iWeb to get results straight away, rather than spend weeks to get back up to scratch on html. Having chosen to go with iWeb, I quickly discovered that what seemed easy at a glance actually had some serious pitfalls. There are, as I said, several drawbacks to using iWeb.
